Your personal data and why we collect it

When you visit our website we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site so we can improve your experience of our website and services.

We collect this information in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting the website. We will not associate any data gathered from this site with any personally identifying information from any source.

If you provide us with any personal information through one of our contact forms, we will only use this information to contact you regarding the subject of your enquiry.

If you provide us with any personal information when you buy a ticket, we will keep this information for up to one month after the concert in case we need to issue a refund. After this, we will delete all of the information you provided, except your postcode. We keep your postcode to help us model our audience so we can plan future festivals.

We will not pass your details on to any third party.

Our email newsletter

You can choose to sign up for our regular Bath Folk Festival email newsletter. This usually comes out monthly and includes information about other folk events that may be happening in and around Bath throughout the year.

We need to store your name and email address to send you the email newsletter. Our email newsletter software will record if you open one of our emails, and if you click on any links in one of our emails.

You can sign up to get our newsletter using the online form on our website or by giving your name and email address to us at a Bath Folk Festival event.

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.
